If I had a million dollars

One thing about my family does (Dad particularly), but we all do this. . . we talk about winning the lottery not as if it’s a possibility. . . but as if it’s a definite thing. We don’t spend money recklessly or anything. . . we just *talk* about this with certainty.

Dad always said that sometime in his lifetime he would get a hole-in-one, and he would win the lottery.  Well, he got his hole-in-one a few years ago. . .

. . . now it’s just a matter of time for the lottery.

When Dad and Mom came to visit me in New Hampshire, we began making a list of all the vacation homes we would purchase when we hit it big.  The locations keep changing. . . with the exception of us wanting a cool place in Soulard for convenience of staying there for Cardinals games.

We also have spent much time discussing the division of money.  Dad discusses the possibility of splitting the money between all his siblings, which is funny. . . because he has eight brothers and sisters. . . and they have a joke that “anything divided by 9 = nothing”. . . ha!  There is also Sarah and I. . . the church, etc.

I am not greedy. . . I just need enough money to quit my job and create enough inspiration for me to be a world famous author so I can rake in more money and spend my life traveling.  That’s all.

Good luck, Dad!  YOU CAN DO IT!  🙂
