Soup, soup. . .

I finished going through my freezer stockpile of homemade soup, sauces, and meals before Thanksgiving and was going to resupply on New Year’s weekend. . . only then the whole refrigerator debacle happened so that was not going to work. . .

So this weekend was dedicated to cooking up some of my freezer items again.

Saturday was Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice.

Today was Ham and Potato Soup. . . a new favorite that I’ve made a few times.

Please note that 1 tsp of pepper is too much (I never add much salt and pepper). . . please also note that I have put bacon in this every time I’ve made it and feel that it is a MUST.  It adds such great flavor.

Next weekend. . . the lasagna and marinara stockpile!

LOOOOOVE bringing lasagna to work. . . such a treat!  (I’ll post that recipe, too in case anyone is interested.)
